Is there a good freeware .msi complier? I want to send updates to all pc's on my LAN using a GPO. I did try one, msicreate, but the .msi wouldn't run. The file, update.exe, is created using WinZip Self-Extractor Pro.

eh the Wininstall LE is much more intuitive i would say.

Repackage hotfixes? can't you use qchain for that?

qchain makes sure the files that are updated aren't messed up when you do a mass install of hotfixes, it's not a repackager
