When did poker become a sport ?
Thats my question. I am seeing it on ESPN.

I was wondering this too. Poker is not a sport, its a card game.

they dont just show sports they show the spelling bee and they show scrabble championships as well. . the E in espn is for entertainment even though everyone thinks they just dont show sports.
They show it on Sky Sports aswell, and it usually over runs the wrestling ¬_¬
ESPN doesnt care, if it brings in money and good ratings, then they will air it! so i guess it does...Lets Play Some POKER!

They also have a movie on once in a while. Usually sports related, but it's still a movie.

ESPN stands for Entertainment Sports P-something network, so it isn't strictly sport plus poker brings in good ratings
