Has anyone bought the AppleCare for iPod? Is it worth it? Is it good?

I am planning to refund the stupid extended warranty from Futureshop and get the AppleCare instead.

Anyone heard any good things about Apple support?

I bought the Apple Care for my iPod, never used it yet, same way with the Apple Care for my iMac. I believe Apple has great technical and warrenty support, but I haven't had to deal with it yet.

Here's a thread about iPod AppleCare. Seems like if there's really a problem, meaning you can prove to Apple that your iPod is not working as intended, they'll send you a brand new one. So I'd say it's definitely worth it. Plus, don't you get a new battery for free when the original one dies (which probably happens between the first and second year after purchase)? I could be wrong but it's definitely something worth looking into...
