Also the videocard is good enough to play halo thats for sure, was playing it this morning on my iMac.

3-4 weeks? If that's the case you might as well drive to your local Apple store and pick one up...

If you're lucky enough to find them in stock. Which probably won't be the case.

i know my store has them, because the sales person was going to get it for me... but i descided this time i was gonna get my mac done right, biggest hd and bluetooth, 2 things i regret not getting on my iBook

There is one thing people buying the iMacs need to look out for,

If you plan on putting your own memory in, and the memory has heat syncs you'll need to remove them, the slots are so close the sticks won't fit.

I ordered my new G5 iMac a few weeks back and it shipped this past weekend from China. It won't arrive until the 13th of October. There are long waits on these things!

just placed my order....2-3 weeks ah well, i can wait...... sorta.

My order, placed aug 31st, was supposed to be shipped before 09/30... And now it's 10/06!
It's the smallest model, + BT module... nothing else.

On guy received his in 2 days after the status changed to Shipped.
And another one had his order shipped in less than one week!

Mine was supposed to be on or before 30th for delivery, I got an email last night saying it would be monday at the earliest before it would ship out, and I just got an email this morning saying it has shipped!

I got mine from Crucial because the prices we SO MUCH higher on Apple...

Yes, sorry to see that you bought your RAM through Apple. Apple will charge you an arm and leg for memory, usually TWICE what you can find on DealRam.com or Newegg even.

$1100+ to change 256MB to 2GB... I found better prices for 2GB @ around $600.

Woulda saved $400 right there.
