i have it... its "okay" although, personally id spend the $30 or $50 whatever it is and get the motorola V220 because of the external caller ID 9can be very useful) and the camera) the phone itself is okay, not the best, not the worst ot there

The screen is nice on the phone, but I had it for 45 minutes and went back to the store and returned it.
i went from a v600 to this phone. i like it... simple, strong quality build/body.

you went FROM a v600 TO the x426!? Wow, if I had a v600, I would baby it more than my NEC 525 (I scratched the front by dropping it on pavement

)
Yeah, the V600 is awesome. When we switch from CellularOne (****ty service) to Verizon Wireless, I'm picking up the V710

i got this phone, i really like it, i wish it had a display in the front though, thats my only complaint. The colour screen is easily one of the best out there and it really light and small which is really cool

Yes i too do want an external display and camera. Any other ppl have comments on this phone?
Thanks
the x426 is a solid phone.. minus the front caller id. i have it as one of my backup phones. i know it doesn't have outside caller id.. which isn't very helpful.. but reception is great. no camera.. but thats no biggie because camera phones are just a novelty right now.
btw what service provider are you going with..

Rogers AT&T (A canadian company btw). Going with a family plan (with my dad who already has a phone) and they are throwing in this phone for free and no setup fees.
i have the e600c. front lcd shows caller id. both screen 65k colour. camera with video recorder. i'll say its pretty good
