I was reading about this phone as i have the 5140 and i wondered what the differences were between the two phones.
I did google unsuccesfully...

the b version is one that is made for the us. here in the states we use the 850/1900 frequency band. you being in isreal.. would only need the non b version so you could make use of the 900 band.
gsm operates in 4 different bands...
850/900/1800/1900 mhz...

everywhere else is 900/1800/1900mhz
