[ My Address Here ]Dear Apple Customer
Thank you for your order. A service request has been placed. Your dispatch number and other details are shown above.
A shipping box and instructions for completing your service request will be sent to the address you entered. This service box and instructions should arrive in few days.
• Only send in the main unit for repair. Do not send any accessories or additional items (such as power adaptors, cables or cases) as they will be discarded and will not be returned.
• Pack the unit properly using the packaging provided. Any unit damaged in shipping as a result of improper packaging will be returned in the condition received.
• If sending in an iPod for service, be sure to backup the music or other data on your iPod. During the service process, your iPod may be replaced by a new or remanufactured iPod product which does not contain your data.
When the repair or other service request is complete, we will validate your credit card and charge the costs to it. If, on receipt of your unit at our repair depot, we determine that the cost is different from the quotation, you will be contacted by telephone before the repair is carried out.
Note: The repair service offered by Apple does not extend to units that have been severely damaged through accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication. Units that have been damaged in this manner will be returned in their original state.

I'm gonna leave it til tomorrow, if nothing happens i will call them, having my iPod not working really is VERY annoying. It is equally annoying having all these hoops to jump through to get it repaired. This time last year with my 3G iPod it was a piece of cake...

Thanks for the link.
