I started out playing console games but I also play PC games a fair bit. Counter-strike since it's beta versions is what kicked it off for me for PC gaming.
I own a Playstation 1 and 2, SNES, NES, and PC. I love 'em all. I've played pretty much all the good games for those consoles. Heck, I'm still waiting for KH2 and FFXii for my PS2(dammit Squenix, what's taking so long!!!
).
Sure today's console games might look outdated compared to current PC games, but graphics isn't the reason why I bought a PS2 anyway. It's all about the games and the PS2 has all the games I want to play - from the metal gears to the final fantasies, to the madden's and the gran turismo's. Controllers work really well for those games.
And there's a lot of exclusive and innovative games for consoles you can't get for PC.
Xbox sucks though cuz there is no game i want to play on it, not even Halo which I think is overrated and the controller sucks IMO.
Of course, PC games has it's merits. FPS, RTS and MMO's is what PC's do best. There's just no better way to play than mice+keyboard for those type of games. There's no game on consoles that can beat the gameplay and graphics(granted you have good hardware which I don't) of games like half-life 2 and battlefield 2. And and of course there's is WoW which I'm really really really addicted to right now.
I just don't see why you PC fanboys restrict yourselves by just exclusively playing PC games and think it's the best gaming platform in the universe. That's just being narrow minded.
