I know some of you here use Cedega and poissbly WoW also. I just picked up a copy of WoW and I signed up for Cedega. Whenever I try to run a cedega /mnt/cd/Installer.exe, I get this error: /usr/lib/transgaming_cedega//winex/bin/wine: can't exec '/mnt/cd/Installer.exe': error=21

I want to play this game so bad! Any help?
Zerosleep
Ok I fixed that problem. I had to add exec on /mnt/cd in fstab. So now when I run cedega /mnt/cd/Installer.exe it doesnt do anything. Just returns to the next line.

Yup, I was going to respond that but you fixed the problem. Gl next time!

Any idea on what I should do?

I'd check Cedega's (Transgaming's) forums to see if anyone else has gotten this particular game to work. They are probably more experienced in these matters.

Been there done that. I've been all over google, and irc searching for an anwser. No dice.

I don't know, but somebody there managed to get it working.

here's the link.

Stability is a problem though. Maybe blizzard should release a client for linux since they did one for MacOS. How hard could it be? ninja.gif

works fine for me on fc3. there is a tip on transgaming.org'ss forum about the dll needed to be copied over to make the installer work.
Zerosleep
Ok, I did that. I posted on the forums there and I'm just waiting for some responces. The dll helped a little, I actually got to see a GUI pop up. But it only displayed errors.
