I just tried burning a data DVD using Toast 6 and a Maxell DVD-R, but got a buffer underrun error. I tried to eject, but OSX isn't seeing a disc in the drive or something, because it won't eject. I have a powerbook, so the superdrive is slot-loading.
Any help here? I logged out and back in and I still can't eject it.
What model powerbook some have a pinhole for manual ejection.
or pressing down on the trackpad when you turn it on.

Have you tried restarting as well?

If it doesn't work by logging out try turning of the computer. Upon restart you may find that iit will eject itself, if not, sorry dude!

Either hold down the mouse button when starting up, or try holding the command, o, and f keys whilestarting up. Once you are presented with the open firmware screen, type "eject cd" without the quotes. That should eject the CD. You can then type mac-boot and it will continue to boot.
