I have a Dell Inspiron 8500 with a GeForce4 4200 Go 64MB RAM and I have always used the drivers for it from the Dell website however I just got Half Life 2 and it says my drivers are old. Just checked on the Dell website and they are from 2003 which I agree is pretty old.

What I want to know is can i download the latest drivers from nvidia.com and use them? Is there anything special about the Dell drivers or do they just package up the normal drivers in a Dell installer to make everything the same?
