I tried installing those artwiz fonts to use in Fluxbox and I keep failing miserably. I followed directions in the fluxbox docs and they still don't work, and googled, still can't get them working. Has anyone here done it and can help?

I Had Probs With That For Along Time .. Finally I Installed Them using The KDE Font Center ... Then It Worked .. Another Thing Is Check And See If You Have Antialising option on in the menu ... messing with that changed my font also

Gah, can someone retitle this to Getting Fonts Working. I wasn't thinking and titled it wrong. AA isn't turned on.

check *xfontsel and see if it reads the artwiz font as installed ... if they dont show up there your X server Wont Reconize them

Thanks, that gave me enough to figure it out. I did xlsfonts |grep nu and that gave me the full font name. I put that in my theme.cfg and it worked.

Artwiz' fonts were modified by Alec(zapka? kafka?,) and should scale nicely. You might want to give them a try.

I've got a problem with those fonts too.
I've checked xfontsel, and they're all there.
I've also done xlsfont |grep anorexia, and tried all of the names there.
But whatever I write in my Fluxbox theme file, I either get some other weird fonts, or the anorexia font with a 4 on both sides of the letters. Example for XMMS: 4X4M4M4S4.
Does anyone have a clue of what's wrong?

I just put them into my .fonts folder and they worked fine.

I've got them there too.. Still won't work though.

By the way.. Works fine in Torsmo, XMMS, Firefox etc.. Just not in Fluxbox.
