While fixing some broken fonts I accidentally deleted the Suse fonts from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype...
Does anyone have them or could point me to them?

A couple of fonts on websites now show up weird.

TIA

Nobody? Even someone that has suse 9.1 could maybe tar up those fonts for me?

Did you install SUSE form CDs/DVD, or did you install from network?

If from media, then you should be able to get them off the disk. If from the network, you should be able to re-download & install.

Do you have any fonts at all? (is it bootable and usable in any fashion to login on you box?)

Simply use YaST to reinstall the fonts. You can download them from the SuSE FTP (ftp.suse.com) or one of the many mirrors, Or alternatively use your original installation discs.

If for some widely obscure reason, none of those options appeals then Sourceforge (and probably many other similar places) distribute truetype fonts. There's the Windows fonts project on SF which allws you to have all the Windows fonts on your linux system and is very convenient for opening cross platform documents wink.gif
