Can't seem to find the place to change to a custom title. Am I looking in the wrong place? (User CP / Edit Profile...)

Right place. under Custom User Text , but you need 10 posts or have been signed up for 10 days, I forget which it is.

That's a neat feature. I think I like it better then automated titles.
