i dont know if this question stupid or what..i'm using a pc shared with different people at my college..i don't want others to use my username here in neowin..so can i logout from neowin after i've used the comp?

You are suppose to be able to and there is a link to do so at the bottom of the main forum page.



But as I have said to the appropriate person before, it does not work and as long as I have tried it it has never worked.



The only way to do so at this stage is to go to your cookie folder and delete the cookies for neowin.

You can log out of Neowin by clicking on this link it doesnt always work for everyone.. but I have no problems with it.

you mean it does* work. when neowin removes your cookies, its basically logging you out. you don't need to restart anything.

Yea you have to close all IE windows after clicking the link.. I just tested it and it worked for me

..come to think of it..i've never logged out of neowin!

lol yes, but do you really want to do that every time you wish to log out? I can honestly say i have never, ever needed to log out:ermm:

lol..i wouldn't logout too if i'm using my on PC..the problem is i'm sharing the PC with people i dont know..but it seems that close IE and open it again solved the problem..
