Full Version: Disappearing news, and Mozilla/Message boxes on main page

Two things;

1.) Has anyone else noticed any disappearing main page posts lately? A couple examples are the Outlook security fix from last week, and then today there was a discussion on the Winamp bug which allows for execution of code which suddenly disappeared. I'm just wondering if this was intentional, or if there's some kind of glitch or something that's causing the news to disappear.

2.) Also, when replying to a news item on the main page, the message box doesn't wrap appropriately with Mozilla. I'm guessing that it has to do with not setting the number of columns for the message box, but when reaching the end of the line it doesn't wrap; rather, it continues on the same line. Is there any alternative way to fix this so the text wraps?

Thanks for any help;

[Edit: Also, I noticed that you removed an image or something from the pages which made Neowin scroll much more smoothly...it really helped, thanks. smile.gif]

If there's one thing I've noticed about mozilla is it's handling of textarea wrapping. It's not that it's poorly done, but the Quirks rendering mode doesn't seem to handle this specific quirk.

check bugzilla.mozilla.com about it becuase I'm lazy... tongue.gif

If I remove my post, or other, it's usaully because the news was posted on Neowin already. But I do not know how those news disappear. But hey, there's always a reason for it. We don't just remove news just for the heck of it tongue.gif
