The design is a little too elaborate for my tastes. I do like the coloring though.
Looks good man. I want to see more for sure.
It interesting. Is it going to be free?
If it is I will keep track on the progess otherwise I won't cause I don't have the money.

the greyish borders are too thick and their drop shadow is way too harsh.

I'm a minimalist fan, so obviously that style is not for me, but objectively speaking, it's pretty nice. Have you thought about changing the blue to something else? I, personally, have never been a big fan of blue and silver, but something like red and silver would look really slick, IMO.

you guys took the words out of my mouth
your visual styles tend to "stick out" more...not particularly in a good way

..they have potential, though, like Liquid says

I think people are saying something about a drop shadow because it
looks like there is one. The bevel that is applied to the blue areas make it look like there's a shadow being created by the grey ones.
My suggestion would be to tone down the opacity on the shadow caused by the blue areas' bevel, because right now it's close to black. Or, perhaps, you can take the bevel off of the blue areas and instead make it a shadow as originally though, but just definitely not as dark.
Looks good, just not really my style, as usual

I'd still like to see this progress though.
not bad try decreasing the bevel a little bit and get some smooth metal going
The design has a lot of potential, but you really should take the beveling down and add contrast to it. Right now it looks a lot like someone just discovered the bevel & emboss command in photoshop.
If you basically flatten the theme down, no border over 1px thick you will have a very good theme going.
Been using PS for 5 years my freind, thx for the suggestions but short of making it again, and it was time consuming, i wont be changing the start Menu as i lost the psd AGAIN, (man im so bad about that)
anyway, this is a step down to the amount of bevel i usually use, i happen to like my themes to have depth, doesnt use any more space so really whats the difference anyway. Sorry to the people that like flat themes.
