Hey,
So I'm looking at buying a cell phone after xmas and I've been on Bell, Rogers and Telus's site and found that Telus has the most coverage where I need to be and the best rate plan (what's up with Bell's prepaid plan?! lol). Here's the problem, Rogers has better ringtones (And a certain one I want that telus doesn't have). Is there anyway I could take a ringtone off their site and put it on my phone?

Thanks, and this is the cellphone I'm going to be getting: LG 3200

Please could you tell us which phone the Rogers one is - as ringtones are not specific to networks, rather they are specific to certain phones.
insanekiwi
exactly. ringtones are not bound to the service provider.
brgnewman
it's a ringtone on Roger's Download Service

No, there is no way you can put a ringer from Rogers onto a Telus phone.
You'll have to try a 3rd party site. There's many in the uk but they are $$$$ for us canadians tongue.gif
Buy a data cable and do that instead, always the better way smile.gif

Your welcome smile.gif I know of this b/c a friend of mine tried this with his LG 3200 Telus phone and @ the rogers site they only support the LG 4010 and 4015. Both which are Fido/Rogers phones (Rogers bought Fido btw) wink.gif
