How do I do a search for blu-ray DVD devices?

Obviously there must be content on Neowin but I get no results from a search. Neowin searches need to be four or more characters so I can't search for +blu +ray (or +blu +ray +dvd) and I think the hyphen causes trouble.

Well, that's now how it's supposed to be spelled. Will that search find articles where it has been spelt correctly?

AFAIK, the search engines on these boards are just pull relevant character strings, so I don't see any reason why it would see blu-ray as different from bluray or blu+ray or BLuRaY. Or even Blueray, or Blueberryray, but ... I could be wrong. I certainly gets some results.

yeah i often find myself using google to crawl thru neowin forum cuz neowin serach doesn't alow 3 characters or lower, and it's not as effective as google search...

I think he means that when you use the search feature you must specify a search string of at least x amount of characters so if you are searching for something like CDR for example then it wont work becuase its too short. Rather annoying this

yes. can the mods admins change this? Especially words like php, IPB, C++ etc.

Nope, the search is like that on purpose. Use the solution posted above if you need to look for 3 chars.
