This is a cool little Distro i use :

Minux is a very small Linux system. No harddisk, no CD-ROM, no installation needed.

It needs just one 3.5" floppy disk !

It's usefull:

To run a computer with Linux, where no installation is possible or allowed. (For example your office computer, etc.)

To do some work on Linux, without installing a complete Linux system.

If you want to use some of the very usefull commands and tools from Linux.

You want to run your old computer as a Linux machine and you don't want to do any installation, just to check, if it works.

etc.

There's also a bunch of FreeBSD and Linux based one disk systems out there. If you guys don't have the money for a router or just have a spare computer around (386 or higher) you can set it up.

Its really cool cause you can set it up to run a web server, DNS, proxy etc off one disk. Just do a google search orgo to freshmeat.I used one for a while and they work really well.
