Ok, this is a really newbish question but the search is not working for me.

Can someone post how to change your logon screen without stylexp, or anything like that?

I use the Replacer to do that.
It works for me.

User friendy, just drag and drop.
Original logonui.dll is at C:/WINDOWS/System32

But remember there is always risk involved.

Try at your own risk.

If you are downloading modified logonui.exe files, I have been using Logon Screen Changer without any problems.

It does not display the whole logon in the preview window, just the background image, but when selected, at next logoff/logon or shutdown/restart, you will see the change.

i use tuneup utilities and it works great

How do you do it thru the registry? I once remembered doing that, but i forgot how.

I just replace the file in the Windows/System32 folder it works fine for me... just make sure you have the correct one for your version of windows
