I have used linux quite a bit, and am currently running Suse 8.0. what do you guys think are the best email clients for linux out there? i mean graphical clients, not pine, elm, mutt, etc.

the best is what works best for you.

kde has like 10bill differnt clients. there's also Pronto!, Ximian Evolution, mozilla comes w/ email client...

sheesh, just search google and/or freshmeat and you'll find more than enough clients

Evolution is what I use, however I will be checking out the sylpheed that Hatter recommended. Looks great.

Sylpheed is great, it's built to be light and fast and it's very fast and nice, evolution is good to if you're looking for a outlook type client.

As noted above, there are many mail apps available. I use kmail as part of KDE 3.0. It does nicely. Has IMAP support and renders HTML formated mail well. Not to mention it benefits from anti-aliased fonts : )
