Techconnect Magazine has released another new optimized ATI driver version 1.8.

This driver is created by ATI and modified by TechConnect Magazine,
we designed this driver to provide the maximum performance and Quality.

* Based on Catalyst Beta 4.12b2

Has anyone actually tried these yet? Any noticable improvements? Specifically with a 9800Pro

I wouldnt bother. just go for the Omegas, these probably arent any better.

Hi,

I tested it, but no improvement of fps , but i got better with the last Omega driver

can I install over ati drivers?

always uninstall the previous driver set or youll run into problems

The omega drivers actually come with a really nice tool to actually remove the old drivers. What I do, and I have had no problems is I install the omega drivers, I reboot into safe mode, launch the "Driver Cleaner" and then I "Re-Install Omega driver". And then I am good to go...
