Full Version: Changing Quick Links
Neowin Forums > Neowin Related Discussion > Site & Forum Issues

I think it would be really useful if we could change the quick links on the top of the forum index. Maybe a list of forums in account options, with checkboxes, and you check the ones you want to show up.. Right now there, it's "General Discussion, Site & Forum Issues | Windows, Mac & Linux Support" .. the only one I use is General Discussion, and I love having it there. I've been so spoiled by it that I don't like having to scroll down to find Customizing Windows XP, Programming, and Open Source OS Discussion. Any chance we'll see the option to change the links in the future?

I decided to write a GreaseMonkey script for this today. It's been over a year since I requested this, so I don't know if anyone is still interested.

There are still two bugs I haven't fixed (as of version 0.1):

Double clicking twice messes things up
Using a ; in your quick links will cause it to fail

This would be great.

I don't trust Greasemonkey enough to install it. For sake of arguement let's just say I'm parionoid.
