okay, i am not sure what the hell happened to my ide controllers for my cmd pci-0649 card. it was working fine, and all of sudden, the drivers decide to go crazy or something. first it was my secondary controller, so i tried uninstalling and having windows detect to install the correct drivers, but it failed miserably. even when i pointed it to the right drivers, it refuses to install. it says it's for the wrong platform... WTF?

and just couple minutes ago, i thought, what the hell, i will remove the cmd controller (in my device manager, besides my nforce2's controllers, i have cmd and its (primary and secondary controllers) and have windows pick it up again. maybe it'll do it right this time. BUT NO! now it also fux0red up my primary controller. both of them has an exclamation mark next to it, and instead of their correct drivers, windows has them installed as "ide channel".

someone know how to force windows to install the drivers? it tells me that wrong platform crap... makes me want to beat the crap out of it. please help.
