devil.gif I have an audigy 1 on a windows XP system... running at 2.0ghz..

i used to use 2.0 sound because i had a set of Pro-Logic II speaks that did some neat 5.1 built in.... they fried.... so i baught some logitechs that are 6.1 ... plugged them in... switched the mixer to 5.1.. worked awsum.... was true 5.1 for the longest time... then all of a sudden i needed to do a system restore.... lost the true 5.1.... i updated the drivers.. formatted the computer... installed windows XP .... updated those crappy drivers... i only get 2.1 ... the rest are VERY faint.... i get the 5.1 when using a DVD or an EAX game....but it wont give me 5.1 all around any more... any help would be greatly accepted.. i wanna listen to my MP3's again.. in 5.1 sad.gif

Enable CMS3Sd. It sends the stereo sound to all channels. It is located in Eax console or older software vers have hidden in PLaycenter.

So you mean playcenter needs to be installed.... ok.. it's the one that came with the card... Audigy Gamer....... can you guide me through it? and it wasnt stereo in all channels... it was litterally 5.1... like the majority of vocals was center.... basic instruments were front L + R... backup instruments were in the rear L + R

If you do not have CMSS3d in the eax control panel then open up Playcenter In the PLayer view (Small view).
Open the tray window on the side and there should be an option to enable Cmss on the bottom of the tray window also you can enable Eax.
I have found without Cmss3d enabled 5.1 does not work all that great unless you are watching dvd's or playing 5.1 games.
