i can read NTFS partition but can't write. can someone help? i am using mandrake linux 8.2...
this is the command i use to access my shared folder in windows:
mount -t smbfs -o username=ian,password=12345 //winxp/shared /mnt/windows

you will get corrupted files if you write to ntfs since linux doesn't really support ntfs's security features.
