Full Version: [OSX] How to Make vid players play certain files

Hi Everybody!!

I'm just wondering how to set up OSX so certain vid programs open up certain video file types by default ex. Windows Media Player (damn it to hell) on .wmv vids and VLC for everything else, also how do you make firefox your default browser instead of Safari, I can't find anything in prefrences

default browser setting is in safari preferenecs.
to change a player, right click the file you want played in whatever player, then get info, then there is a section that has a dropdown to choose the player, pick your player, and check the box that says do that for all files.
