6XGate one of the contributors for the Longhorn Alternative GUI Kit, made some jaw-dropping bootscreens to add to the Longhorn Alternative GUI Kit which you probably have already...

Note... To use these skins you will need to download Stardock Bootskin which is available for free from, where else, Stardock. Or if you wanna try using something else... go ahead...

Yea i got confused as well,
found out though

you need to copy the actual folders into the ./skins directory of where you installed bootskin smile.gif

Nice bootscreens wink.gif , but arent they a little bit too small...

Cant u make them alot bigger,like 1024x768 and 1280x1024?

As bootscreen bitmaps I think they HAVE to be 640x480
I'd really like to see ntoskrnl.exe versions of these.. or a tutorial on editing them into the executable ;D

the way to install is, close bootskin down, then extract the rar file and copy the 3 folders into the directory off bookskin skins folder

e.g... C:\Program Files\Stardock\BootSkin\skins
