It's easy to update video drivers... go to nvidia.com and download them, and I', sure its the saem for sound drivers but I have no clue what sound card i have, who makes it etc. How do I figure this out and then update my drivers?

Go into Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers - it should be listed in there

Start, Control panel, System, Hardware tab, Device manager, scroll down to Sound-Video and Game Controllers. Your audio drivers are listed there.
How do I know which ones to update 
If you have an OEM card (from Dell, Hp, etc.) you'll need to use their drivers.
K I have a gateway so i go to gateway.com and do it?
Tell us what is listed there, we may be able to find what you need

Hmm Those are from a year ago but I just got this comp a few months ago... someone said i should update my drivers cuz my mic sucks no matter what mic i use
