Hi all

Does anyone know which decoder plugin for quicktime is good? I tried divx (from divx.com) it works slow, so which one do you use? Any good suggestions?

Edit: Forgot to mention, I need it for final cut pro. Thanks

3ivX works the best in my experience, but it wont play mp3 audio in .avi files. For playing divx, mplayer is your best option, but it wont work with FCP.

If you install the official DivX plugin, then install 3ivx you'll get full DivX and MP3 soundtrack support.

I've noticed it can be quite buggy at times tho, so if you experience any QT related problems, trash the files and reboot.
