Thierry Henry (France and Arsenal), Ronaldinho (Brazil and Barcelona) and Andrei Shevchenko (Ukraine and AC Milan) will battle it out for the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
The trio have been selected from an original shortlist of 35 players.
The winner will be announced at FIFA's World Player Gala on December 20 in Zurich.
None of the three players have won the award before.

Ronaldinho deserves to win. Remember he dragged Barcelona FC to win the title last season.

Ronaldinho is the winner. However, I do not think that he should have won. He is definitely not the best player in the world (in my eyes). I am happy however that Shevchenko won the European Player of the Year Award. Ukraine is going to do well in World Cup 2006, I can feel it!
