Full Version: [Powerbook] Broken key on keyboard...how to fix?

A few days ago I got home from work and opened up my powerbook to find the 'S' key had popped off. I tried putting back on, and it seemed to snap into place, but now it sits at a weird angle and has a tendency to pop back off when I'm typing. My guess is that the clip underneath the key is either bent, broken, or both.

What are my options for fixing this? I've seen sites like pbparts.com, but is this something I can fix on my own?

Call apple.... order a replacement! 800-APL-CARE (i see that you are in the states) They can send you a new keyboard that you replace yourself

I suggest visiting an AppleCare customer service shop, since it's a powerbook and replacements aren't that simple.
