Hey guys we have just installed some network cables and they seem to work sometimes in the 100mbps switch but they always work in the 10mbps can anyone shed some light on that, also 1 cable about 30 metres seems to have slow connectivity im wondering if its dropping out is there anyway of verify and finding out whats wrong with the cables

are they set up to run at 100full?

well if we use another cable that we have already they work perfect im guessing something is wrong with the cables but all the connection are correct

The cable is bad replace it

well i was thinking of coming to that conclusion becuse the ends have been crimped about twice each

use a belkin cable tester to test teh cable. Youd be suprised how many cables are bad in any setup. Since getting a cable tester myself i think there brill !!! happy.gif so easy to troubleshoot cabling problems yes.gif
