Anybody tried any of those JetAudio MP3 players? they have tons of features, aren't too badly priced, and work with linux. Wondering if anybody has experience with them?

They're the Cowon range, somehow JetAudio is tied in there... erm... software or something.
The whole range is better known as the Cowon iAudio "X#"
I know that the M3L has a huge battery life [L] but the H3 series has had a lot of complaints about HDD failure etc... + it's only operable from the remote, as thats the only place with a screen. Though after using my iRiver iHP140's LCD remote 90% of the time I doubt this would bother me.

Cowon/JetAudio makes great mp3 players........especially the iAudio m3
Everyone is waiting for the highly anticipated iAudio m5
check out the pics of the m5
http://www.iaudiophile.net/viewtopic.php?id=259You know that's going to make some noise in the mp3 world......if it's as good as the m3, the m5 is going to be amazing......and there's an lcd screen "on the player" this time

lol

hmm...maybe I'll wait nd see how much the m5 will be...any idea when it's coming out?
I was thinking of maybe getting the g3 1gb. I don't need a whole lot of space for music...but if the price is right on a good hd one...
these jetaudio players just seem to strike my fancy somehow...

MR_Candyman - you should take a look at iRiver's new set of players.
They come in 1GB, 2GB, 5GB & 20GB flavours.

If you want pocket friendly- Zen Micro, any Cowon/Jetaudio players, or the Iriver h120/40
If pocket friendly isn't a problem- go for the gusto and get the best player out of Creative, Iriver, or Cowon.
this is only if you don't want and ipod
btw- latest word is that the m5 will be released sometime in January.......I hope the price is less that $400. I'm really excited about it.
