Nokia 3200 has Poly 16 capability. I have converted few MIDI files to SP Midi by reducing the number of channel, cutting it short and etc. I used the Nokia PC Suite 2.4 to transfer the polyphonic ringtones to my phone. usually I reduce the MIDI instrument channel to six, creating a basic melody for a song. Using Nokia Sound Converter, usually the tones are passed (phone should be able to play), all channel are in GREEN and poly count are below 16. But, some can be played and some not. Anybody have the know how in MIDI or can point me to good reading material on the net?
