Hmmm, I guess that I'm slightly confused on this...I presently have a 250MB Yahoo! Mail account:
XXXXXXX.yahoo.com (English interface) so I have just reviewed the above two posted threads also on this topic, and members have had this 'procedure fail'...
Actually 250MB is plenty for my needs, but 'if/when' I decide to try this method, does it then update my present XXXXXX.yahoo.com account of the same Yahoo! Mail addy to 1GB ? lol
Or does this method create a completely new Yahoo! Mail account with the cn.yahoo.com addy, hope that this is clear...

Dam...missed the 'allotted edit time'...anyways I see that it worked for devilman2590 with a 'newly created account'...but did not work for moi, as I was just trying to see if this method would indeed update my Yahoo! Mail account from 250MB to 1GB
Oh well...looks like Yahoo! figured it out and put the 'Kabash' on it, at least for those trying to upgrade their existing accounts...

This method or any other was/is never meant to work on already existing accounts. It works if you want a new @yahoo.com.cn account.
May be the mods should consider editing the topic title? It's misleading. One _can not_ increase their (already existing) yahoo mail storage quota.

trigger_my_passion,
Yes indeed, and thanks for
clarifying this... Especially if this Topic is going to remain a pinned Thread... I followed all steps correctly, and had the Chinese/Yahoo/Messenger Plugin installed while using IE SP2, and tried several times...lol
Just really out of curiousity...

Indeed. *This* thread's title needs to be changed as it would seem to suggest that you can enlarge the size of an EXISTING account whereas clearly the guide mentions creating a new account

Is this still working? Just finished creating a new account, and it it only 250mb. I unchecked the "Create Account" checkbox. I didn't understand the instructions that well. Can someone explain it more? I don' understand chinese so I don't know if I'm doing it correctly. Screenshots will help a lot. Thanks.

Yahoo's 250mb is already plenty for email storage and my email still hovering between 10-15% usage. I'm happy with it atm
