I would like to assign a button on my multimedia keyboard to the Run command but I do not know what process it uses. Can someone help please?
I looked under Task Manager but did not see anything useful.

not the command prompt, i think he means the command to bring up the run dialog...
um, win + r works for me, can you bind a key to a key combo?
Don't know. But it would be useful since I use that command practically for everything plust it would make me feel good having spent a whole lot of money for this keyboard..
Thanks
There's no command to show the Run dialog. The RunFileDlg function in shell32.dll doesn't seem to be exported so that you can call it with rundll32.exe. Trying to bind windows+r to that key would be the best bet.
Take a looksy here. It didnt work for me in 2000, but im sure XP would let you do it!
