for some reason it is not working on my computer.. i've tried 4 different USB ports and it still does not work.

i plug in the iriver and it says "New MTP Device" i point to the drivers in the CD and it starts to "instal" i quoted that because visually you see files flying from one folder to the other, which is usually a good sign, but then it cuts off and gives me this screen (see pic)

i checked my usb drives and they are the latest from Asus.

That's odd. MTP devices are supposed to be driverless.

Let me take a few guesses.

Have you disabled any services?
Try Rebooting.
Check the event log for any errors, they might be more detailed?

it works now.. i don't know how.. it just does.

I got same thing worked before i did a system restore and it stoped working reinstalled softare like 4 times still nothing It a iRiver H320

you shouldn't have had to use the cd at all
