Im from the UK and flying into Sanfrancisco / Milpitas for a fortnight soon.

I want to buy the 15 inch superdrive powerbook while im out there and was wondering if there was any way to get this cheaper than say, buying it at rrp ($2500)

Are there any good tax free or places that sell this a few hundred dollars cheaper at all?

Id suggest to buy apple stuff at a college if you can. They get educational discounts and sometimes you can get things (epecially powerbooks) ~$200 cheaper. Good luck

well my friend says that they dont even check for id wehn u buy anuthing from apple stores in unis and college so even if u are not student u might get the edu descount that will certainly help you!
