hey, i just switched back to win2k from xp and i was wondering...

1. does anyone know of where i could get a shell32.dll with the regular xp icons (the ones in win2k blow). if so, could you also give me a walkthrough on how to replace it.

2. is there a program or something that makes it so that i can use 32 bit icons in the systray?

3. is there a way to make the space between the clock and the systray icons a little less wide, like the classic theme in xp?

4. also, is there a way to make the captions under things on the desktop transparent..?

that's all i can remember for now. thanks in advance. smile.gif

why did you drop back to 2k? sounds like you liked xp better...
kainashi
xp was too buggy for me, plus all the themes and everything got boring after awhile.

hmm i think its ok...i do agree, the themes get old, but one of the things i like about it is i can change that instead of sticking with the classic. in either case, they both beat NT4 hands down...

Only one I can hit is #4: Transparent Icon Labels
kainashi
