Anyone know how this can be done? The .sub came with .idx files too.

Is there also any way to view an .avi file with the subtitles from the .sub?

.sub + .idx files are standard subtitles, ripped from a dvd. every good media player can play avi files with these. if your's can not, it's time for a change wink.gif
or you can install vobsub (google for it) which is a directshow filter for such subtitles.
you can also convert such subtitles to .srt or anything else, with e.g. subrip.

Thanks for the replies! smile.gif I can watch with subs now. How can I make it so that the subtitles are included in with the .avi files? I am hoping to burn the video into a DVD.
