Full Version: server will crash in the event of an sql error

I have a Windows server 2003 as a web server, with about 70 web site on IIS
some users in thier web sites use Access Database

but if a user writen a bad code and wrong code for using Database in thier web site ( ASP )
all of the server will crash and IIS fail

What's the problem? blink.gif

Do you have any error messages for us? At all? blink.gif Look in the system event log and find a specific error if you can thumbs_up.gif Also check the IIS log for any details.

If they're in IIS6, they should be running in different pools and as I understand it, that makes them sort of resistant (maybe not resistant but withstand better) to crashes by other sites. I would check into this if I were you.

they have a pool for each site

I found the problem
if there is many connection to an Access Database this happened

why?
is there any hot fix for this

Nope, that's why Microsoft made MS SQL Server =) (or you could try Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
