But I was wondering is there at all any chance that if I pass I can be on my parents insurance or will ICBC (insurance company) sh!t down my hole about it? Thanks.

One thing you could do is get an inexpensive car and get liability. Most states if not all require at least liability insurance. This means if you wreck, your car is gone or not covered but any damage you cause is up to a point. You may be able to get reduced rate through your parents plans though.

You might already be convered under your parent's policy if you drive the car only occasionally.

If you drive the car more regularly then they'd have to list you as a secondary driver.

You will only gaining years of driving experience when you are listed as a secondary (or primary) driver.

Also if you are NOT listed as a secondary driver but you drive the car on a regular basis and then have an accident then the insurance company may investigate to see if you drived the car on more than an occasional basis. That could be trouble.
