Hey,

I got a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition box, and I'm looking for a tool that I can use to block certain IP's from accessing any services on the box. (All Ports, TCP and UDP)

Im not after one of those things like the RIAA IP blocker, i just wanna be able to add one or two IP's to block certain people from services on my server.

Anyone got any suggestions? biggrin.gif

Thanks very much, smile.gif rofl.gif

a firewall?

Well, my router is a firewall already, it just doesnt have an IP block feature, so I kinda just wanna replace the IP Block feature with a software solution, on the Server Box.

(I use to use a Smoothwall that had a IP Block feature)

Any Suggestions, please? cry.gif

Um if your behind a NAT router, how exactly are you going to block any external IP's on your server? To the server the ONLY ip connecting to it, is the internal IP address of your NAT router.

What router are you using? If behind a NAT router, there is no software you could put on your server to block access - since all traffic is from the router?

Are you trying to prevent internal access to your server?
