hi, i recently downloaded firefox 1.0. i had 0.8 first and it was working fine. when i downloaded 1.0, the browser wont work. when i try to go to a website, it says:
"Operation timed out."
i removed it and re-installed it but it still wont work. i even tried going back to 0.8 but that would'nt work either. does some1 know what the problem might be? could there be something wrong with my computer?

check your proxy settings
Yea, this is a problem with how you connect to the internet, not with Firefox. You probably have to use a proxy that has been set in IE options.
make sure you use a clean profile when you start using 1.0
