Went to the apple dealer this afternoon to get a new iBook. They had them in store, but the member of staff quoted me £703 with educational discount. I had seen £659 on the Apple educational store last night, so I ran home to check this.

They have changed the educational price for the iBook! It is £703!! Bah!

Anyways, i wasn't that bothered, so i ran back to the store to find they had just closed early beacuse is hogmanay! *humph*

Suppose I'll just have to go get drunk then tongue.gif

There are varying degrees of Educational Discount. £703 is the basic one. £659 is the HE one. Obviously there was a slip up on the website since you should only be able to get to the £659 through your HE network.

Good job syphonic! You hit the nail on the head, I must have looked at the wrong website when I went to check up. Am using my university's cache server just now and I have the cheaper price!!

Nice one, ordered! tongue.gif

Happy New Year Guys.
