I know that the news on the iMac "micro" isn't a 100% definitive, but most likely will come out at MWSF 2004.

I'm a real big mac fan, although I don't have one currently, and after seeing news of the iMac micro, I have the money and am ready to make the leap.

The only problem I have is this: i'm going to go to college in three years. I currently have a dell inspiron 2600, which will probably not last me one or two more years. My dad said if this Dell goes ka-put, he'll probably buy a new one for me. But if i buy the iMac Micro on my own terms, then that deal is basically useless.

I don't know if the iMac Micro will be outdated by this time three or four years from now though...so I'm wondering at all if this is a good investment.

any help appreciated...thanks smile.gif

Happy new year,

PS: As an added bonus to the problem....my camera that i bought just six months ago, when i turn it off, the sound of the lens retracting is a little harsh...1) will it break down eventually? and 2) where should I go from there.
