What do mean by within 3 weeks?

3 weeks from today?

Or 3 weeks after MacWorld Expo?

i'm only in israel for the year... i don't live here. i'm asking because there's an apple store 5 minutes from my house in new jersey and my parents are coming to visit me on january 28. so i'm trying to decide if i should risk waiting till the last minute for my parents to maybe buy me a newer laptop after macworld.

It depends, if it's just a new revision, they are usually in stores within a week at most.... but if it's the rumoured Dual Core G4 or even G5 Powerbooks, then expect quite a long wait sad.gif

Sorry, wasn't clear enough, I mean to say that products will take around 2-3 weeks to get into stores AFTER the event, hey I may be wrong!

Bwahaha! Everyone is an expert at Neowin, you should know that, Dan. shifty.gif

Anyhow, I tried thinking back to when they announced the PowerBook upgrades. I remember placing an order almost instantaneously at the online store, however it took a little while to actually receive. Same goes for the stores, I don't know the time frame, but everyones estimates of 2-3 weeks seems about right. (Or eternity, depending how long you actually want the product, should it be released. wink.gif)

I can put my hand behind a Dual G5 here at school and tell you for sure...

They're hot.
