Sorry for the stupid question. I found a very nice set of icons to use. However they are all individual .ico files, and there is no .ip file for icon packager to apply them. Is there a way apply them all at once instead of having to do each one manually?
No, it has to be one by one.

Isn't there a way to group the icons together in a batch and turn them into a package for icon packager to apply?
you can reshack them into shell32.dll and other files individually, then replace the file.
there should be a way to package it for ip, though. but i don't use ip, so i'm not sure.

I'm not sure about the free version but the enhanced version lets you save you applied icons as icon package. So you have to go through the hassle of applying them one by one for one time only and then can save the settings.

you could use
IconTweaker to create a pack it can use. i have emailed its writer asking if he planed icon packager support but he never replied. its quite an easy app to use but in its current version a fair few things are not covered (rar extensions, dvd-ram drives numerous default system icons).

and of course once you have your icon tweaker pack get the author's permission to release it so we can all enjoy it without using shareware
